Back in April, Attackerman stepsister Emptywheel highlighted how important it was that high-powered lawyer Terry O’Donnell — Dick Cheney’s personal criminal attorney — was retained by ex-Pentagon general counsel Jim Haynes. Haynes, of course, was investigated last week by the Senate Armed Services Committee for his role in approving torture in DOD interrogations.
