Speaking of awesome songs, how about "Hunger Strike" by Temple of the Dog, huh? A couple weeks ago, K-Capps and I were stooping at the Flophouse, like 5:30 in the afternoon or some shit, and we put it on and at the appropriate moments did the Chris Cornell falsetto. Dudes in their early 40s were passing by, taking a second to process what that song was, and then shooting us a look of mischievous pleasure, like, Oh fuck yeah dude I remember this one time in college…
City Veins, you know you would do a killer cover. I hereby challenge you.

Sorry, boss, but the rest of that story goes:
“… when we invented being drunk and high because *nobody* ever did that before”
People who liked that stuff were a bunch of no-idea-having assholes. 1991 was a great year for Rock Action despite them.
That’s the only song I can remember the lyrics to off that album. Was all a bit low tempo for me. Back then Badmotorfinger was on high rotation.
Interesting Kilo fact: first dunked a basketball to “Jesus Christ Pose”.
I don’t mind stealing bread from the mouth of decadence
