If you’re like me, you’d rather Barack Obama’s running mate be a liberal. Someone who, at the least, had the good judgment and political courage to oppose the Iraq war, or at least to repudiate it thoroughly. But it’s looking more and more like Evan Bayh, the former co-chairman of the Committee to Liberate Iraq (how’s that for a deceitful name), might get the nod, as my new Windy colleague, Ari "Allen Iverson in Denver" Melber documents.
