Does anyone else think it’s perverse that the GOP honored Michael Mansoor within half an hour of whooping it up for the man who needlessly sent him to die? Who, through ignorance, incompetence, or malice, led Michael Mansoor into a war that should never have been fought?

Bush, defending his legacy, just spoke of the "angry left." A cheap moment for a cheap man. Well, you know what? He’s right. The Bush legacy does contain multitudes. It’s the 4100 troops lost in Iraq. The 600 lost in Afghanistan. The hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians. The tens of thousands of dead Afghan civilians. The 1800 who drowned in Katrina. The thousands upon thousands detained, disappeared, rendered, tortured, spied upon illegally. Was there ever a better reason for anger?
