I’ll be on Rachel Maddow’s Air America radio show today at 4:30 EST. Yeah yeah face for radio and all that. I guess we’ll talk about Afghanistan. This time I hope to remember to turn my cellphone off.
Update: Interestingly, the segment that I’m taping now-ish will air, I’m told, tomorrow around 7 pm EST.

Spencer you might want to listen to what Robert Fisk has to say about Afghanistan on Democracy Now today.
Fisk said that the Taliban is in control of half of the country
Also the U.K’s Ambassador to Afghanistan’s latest comments that Amy Goodman addresses “the American strategy is destined to fail. The coalition pressure particulary the military is part of the problem not the solution”
That comment is posted at the beginning of Amy’s program today.

From what my friends in Afghanistan say many people in that country feel that the U.s. is occupying Afghanistan and not necessarily helping
