My band started recording our weekly at a different studio 3 weeks ago and one of the other 2 regular clients for the engineer/studio is Danzig and he called the other day when we were there. The studio is the building that Elliott Smith is standing in front of on the Figure 8 album with all the wavy lines, and whenever it’s Elliott Smiths birthday people put lots of candles outside and when Chris the engineer/owner opens the door he knocks them all over (not on purpose.) Anyways I think it’s neat the the building in LA that has become the local Elliott Smith shrine’s main function is that it’s the hub for all current Danzig stuff (and of .0001% signifigance, Max and the Marginalized’s stuff.) Maybe Elliott Smith tourists and Danzig tourists will meet outside and exchange strange glances.</p> Neat.
