It’s the best part of the weekend: after a Redskins victory, before a World Series game, between beers four and five, and just before dinner. This is usually when I read the Weekly Standard‘s new editorial. And on this lovely, unseasonably warm Sunday, in the twilight of the early evening, Bill Kristol doesn’t disappoint.
An Obama-Biden administration–working with a Democratic Congress–would mean a more debilitating nanny state at home and a weaker nation facing our enemies abroad. We, of course, have confidence that the nation would survive such an interlude…
Now that’s a relief. After four years of an Obama administration — and maybe eight, but, you know, it’s a gamble — the United States of America would probably continue to exist. But do you really want to chance it?

Kristol is an IDIOT…a Palin-pussy whipped IDIOT. Did you see his splooging all over FNS at the concept of Palin Unbound? I think I’m a pretty fair observer, but I have had it with Kristol.
Sorry about my language.

You mean Kristol is seeing sparkles now too? He better watch out for those frying pans at home.
PLEASE let me chance it!
It is an optimistic view. With Wall Street collapsing, the economy tanking, infrastructure decaying, jobs disappearing, the globe warming, health care system in chaos, Iraq policy crumbling, Afghanistan near defeat and the Constitution in tatters, we may not make it to January 2009. One little mistake be Obama and things could get really bad.
I know it makes me a Bad Jew, but I can’t help it the pun is so perfect: if all the polls are correct, November 4 will be The Night Of Broken Kristol.
^That’s an awesome name.
