		<description>&lt;p&gt;The game shouldn’t have been played at all. It was obvious to everyone except Bud that the game would be deluged at roughly the fifth inning. If Tampa had been up 2-1 after 5, and the game called then, would that have been any less fair?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What really disturbed me in reading the coverage in the paper this morning was Selig’s claim he could have unilaterally suspended the game whether or not Tampa had tied it. Who does he think he is, GW Bush? Did Selig issue a signing statement when the rule was changed last season?&lt;/p&gt;
