I remember two things really clearly from four years ago. The first is when I saw the exits that showed Kerry winning Pennsylvania by 20 points. The second is when I saw George Bush the next morning saying that he had a mandate to govern. Clearly, the Obama campaign remembers the same thing, because it just put together this video.
You remember how you felt in 2000 and 2004, right? And you remember how you felt on 9/11? And how you felt after the invasion of Iraq? And how you felt after Abu Ghraib? And how you felt after Katrina? And you felt when you found out how expensive a COBRA plan was when you had no job? And how you feel when you see the names of the fallen troops from Iraq and Afghanistan? And how you feel when you see the faces of free men like Usama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri?

Speaking of wedding bands, I saw a clip of Sarah saying she doesn’t wear hers (”It’s in Todd’s pocket”) because her fingers swell from shaking hands. But iirc, one shakes hands with the right hand & wears the wedding band on the left hand. Weird that she should say that.
