Via Hortense, I see it’s Corin Tucker’s birthday. There isn’t much I can say about Sleater-Kinney that can express how much that band meant to me, from when I was a mopey teenager until today. No band since The Clash managed to achieve so much in a mere ten-year existence, branching so extensively from what they began as, but still managing to stay true to its original animating spirit no matter how thoroughly they explored and challenged it. The song below, "Good Things" from Call The Doctor, got me through some tough times, and the ending lyric from the chorus is one of the greatest coping mechanisms I’ve ever found, so I tattooed it on my arms.
Thank you, Corin, for what you’ve given me.

How often did you see them live? I know I have seen them once(opening for Pearl Jam). In fact, I might have seen them more times. Depends on how often they opened for Pearl Jam.
Aye aye. Did you see them at The Cooler?
All Hands on the Bad One is my all time favorite SK track. In case you were wondering.
