Do you ever get to talk to any Senators? Or just their staffers? Do you know what was on TV this weekend? The Wizard of Oz. Reid reminds me of the cowardly lion.
Sometimes, but usually their staffers. I’m not really covering Congress anymore, though. I think the last Senator I talked with was Sheldon Whitehouse.
I was just curious because from an outsider point of view it seems most of them are craven and cowards. Someone over at OpenLeft posted George Carlin’s rant about politicians and it never seemed truer.
Negotiate with the open-minded members of the Taliban. Come to a peaceful accord with the Iranian regime.
