I kicked a 10 foot tiger shark in the head when I was a kid, because it tried to bite me.

We were on the deck of a boat at the time, so I did kind of have the upper hand. Much more impressive story without this part.

A tip for parents out there…. Apart from the borderline child abuse that comes with waking your children at 5am to go out and pull the shark line and crayfish pots in freezing temperatures, you will also give them a lifelong reminder of the size and variety of sharks about that they would otherwise be blissfully unaware of. Something which may curb their enjoyment of bodysurfing for the next 20 years at the same beaches.
