The announcement of Obama’s national security team is imminent, so naturally I’m thinking about odd Kanye West choices for his relationship imagery. To wit: "Robocop." Long story short, an obnoxious and self-centered lady who makes Kanye’s life miserable is likened to Peter Weller’s cyborg in the Paul Verhoeven movie. The song itself is, I’ve decided, pretty great — like much of 808s and Heartbreak it does an impressive and honest job of chronicling the angry side of heartbreak, and "Robocop" uses its treacly string arrangements to sneer at the alleged Robocop — but shouldn’t this crazy broad be more properly compared to the ED-209?
