Well, if Rahm was up to no good and ‘conspiring’ with Blago, then why did Blago start blurting out profanities when referring to the ‘appreciations’ he was only getting from Rahm or whoever in the Obama clan he had talked to?

Seems to me, Blago is on his own in all of this.

I heard today (on msnbc, I think) that Rahm would know Blago no matter what because, for one thing, they are from the same district, for crying out loud.

I think anyone in the system would know anyone else in the system, and would also know that Blago is bad news. Blago did not frequent the state capital very much, so it is possible that Rahm’s connection is people’s business only. But we do need to know more.

How about Rahm Emmanuel as a sideman for Blago? Of course, he’s not had much to say about those multiple conversations with Blago. Blago hasn’t sounded like he got anything out of them, so far, but the tapes are yet to be released, and until that happens, or Fitz steps up to a mic and says that Emmanuel said nothing that could be construed as a deal offer, then Rahm is going to do some twisting in the wind, and to a certain extent, Obama with him.

As lousy as this all is, it’s way better to get it aired out now, than 3 months from now.

Just listened to CBS News with Katie Couric and they asked Bob Scheifer what his take was on the failure of providing loans to the U.S. auto industry and the asshole said nothing about breaking the unions just that the cracker Senators were expressing the “will” of their consituents who are opposed to the “bailout.” How long must the nation suffer these rich celebrities that are nothing more than spinmeisters for the status quo? They are merely foot soldier in the service of power and priviledge in the class war that the Republicans have been waging since the last great Depression.
