Another reason to hate Tumblrs: for some reason, they fall out of GoogleReader. Yes, GoogleReader is a rather problematic RSS reader. But I never lose blogs in GR, just Tumblrs. And then I can’t keep track of my friends’ illconsidered attempts to treat it as a microblog instead of a useful platform for relaying information. No one start Tumblrs. This is not what big band said to rock and roll, either, so spare me this already-cliched objection.
