Almost at the end of the third quarter of a solid Eagles-Vikings matchup. Too solid, in fact. Can anyone explain why Philadelphia is so heavily favored? I could have sworn I heard that Adrian Peterson has more rushing yards this year than the entire Eagles.
Update: Anticipatory self-defense time with about 3 and a half minutes on the clock. Notice I wasn’t speculating about the outcome of the game, merely making a point about expectations.

“Not speculating about the outcome?” I thought “heavily favored” referred to the outcome.
That loud choking sound you heard is the way the Vikings traditionally end their football season.
I’m just glad the Bears got beat last week so I didn’t have to watch them do the same thing on national television. With Rod Blagojevich and Roland Burris to contend with, a person can only take so much emotional punishment.
One of the two NFC teams that threaten Giants hegemony, the Eagles must be destroyed! They’re deeply flawed and usually fight like hell.
It’s an all-out war to the bitter end. The only question is whether you seek merely to beat the Eagles at home or roll the dice and attempt to end Andy Reid’s regime.
In a densely populated area, toppling Andy Reid might result in more casualties than anyone could stomache.
You’re in rare form.
