Well, now I have an answer to why Mike Vickers, assistant secretary of defense for special operations, low intensity conflict and interdependent capabilities, won’t grant me an exit interview. From Danger Room’s Noah Shachtman:
Bob Gates isn’t the only top Pentagon official sticking around for the Obama administration. Michael Vickers, the former CIA man and Green Beret who now serves as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict, will be hanging around, Inside Defense reports.
Remember how I said you should keep an eye out for who becomes assistant secretary for SO/LIC & IC? I’m guessing Vickers gets along with Michele Flournoy and whomever she’ll staff the Pentagon policy directorate with.

Matt was correct
The Cable Network Suits will get around to this in their own inimicable way.
And fail.
