Ugggggggh thank God that Clinton hearing is over. I wrote 34 Windy posts on it, not including my intro post, or my piece yesterday, or the wrap-up I’m writing now. One of my favorite moments though, came after Sen. David Vitter — he of the D.C. Madam’s clientele — went after Clinton for allegedly insufficient disclosure requirements for future foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation. As soon as Vitter said he "didn’t want to beat a dead horse" — Clinton went over this (and over it and over it) — Megan Carpentier, who was at the hearing for Foreign Policy, IM’d that Vitter wants to have someone tie the horse up so he can fuck it. My guess is he’d just pay to watch.
