Last week, Dave Dilegge of Small Wars Journal asked a bunch of bloggers to muse on how the rise of new media influences the military’s lessons-learned process, expanding on a point made in Abu Muqawama’s review of The Gamble. He got a number of interesting responses from people across the political spectrum, from me and Judah Grunstein on the left to Grim and Hershel Smith on the right to counterinsurgency luminaries like incoming Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Janine Davidson and Dave Kilcullen. In retrospect, I think my answer was kind of wide of the mark of what Dave was looking for, but oh well. Check out the roundtable here.
