&lt;p&gt;I disagree that the first email was more troubling than the second.  The first seemed to say that caution led to delay, which led to greater force being necessary when the inevitable dispersal came.  The second flat out says they should have struck early and struck hard, not just struck earlier and not as hard if possible.  I don’t know what you read in it that allays your concern as compared to the first email.  That said, I had no problem with the first email whatsoever.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
