"Erick Erickson" is a creature invented by the left-wing conspiracy to demonstrate our contempt for our ideological opponents. For instance, no actually-existing human being would be dumb enough to express outrage over a private journalistic listserv by first observing "[Greg] Sargent had been hired [by the Washington Post] as a serious, objective reporter. No right wing blogger would be treated the same" and then writing:

I’m told such luminaries as David Shuster at MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, a host of New York Times magazine writers, Frank Rich, and others all collaborate on this list.

Whoever "told" "Erickson" this doesn’t know what s/he’s talking about, since, as Ezra Klein points out, not a single person "Erickson" named is a member of the list in question. Funny how MSM assignment editors have misplaced this gentleman’s resume. Lucky for him he doesn’t actually exist.
