Remember, you can proclaim the inherent constitutional right to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely; to torture them; to eavesdrop on their communications without a warrant; but when you bring the tax rates of the top earners back to their 2001 levels, that’s when you know this country has begun marching in goose-stepped formation.
