Here I was, reading through the transcript of yesterday’s White House briefing on swine flu, thinking "Why is John Brennan, the senior White House adviser for homeland security and counterterrorism, part of this briefing?" when I saw Brennan provide a certain measure of reassurance:

Q But from a security perspective, nothing to rule it out either — the possibility of bioterrorism?

MR. BRENNAN: We are looking at all different aspects here, but as the doctor said, there is no evidence whatsoever that we have seen. But clearly, in order to make sure that we’re doing everything possible, we’re looking at all potential explanations here — but no evidence whatsoever on the bioterrorism –

Of course, no one would expect an animal as un-halal as the pig to concoct a pandemic flu strain, making him the perfect agent of creeping dhimmitude.
