Via Andrew Sullivan, Kos diarist Electronic Maji says a sports-journalist friend has escaped the press crackdown because of his seemingly unthreatening beat, and passes along what he says are the Interior Ministry’s real tabulations of the vote.
Unofficial news – reports leaked results from Interior Ministry:
Eligible voters: 49,322,412
Votes cast: 42,026,078
Spoilt votes: 38,716
Mir Hossein Mousavi: 19,075,623
Mehdi Karoubi: 13,387,104
Mahmoud Ahmadi-nejad (incumbent): 5,698,417
Mohsen Rezaei (conservative candidate): 3,754,218
I am in no position to verify these figures, but thought I should note that this report exists given the censorship in Iran over the past 36 hours.

Ho. Lee. S**t. (If true, of course.)
Holy Moly
How anyone can make handcounted vote tallies public before the polls have even closed and then think that they are going to be perceived as legitimate is terminal stupidity.
This election sham is more blatent than what occurred in Mexico or what happened in the US in 2000 and 2004.
Did “The Bushies” want Ahmadi-nejad to keep his seat?
So, under this:
Mousavi 45%
Karoubi 32%
Ahmadinejad 14%
Rezael 9%
Run-off necessary, but reformers win in a tidal wave, better than 3 to 1. No wonder it was suddenly, quickly and artlessly stolen.
And the Zionists too!
Wow, this an intersting piece of info.
There is no way an incumbent only polls 14%. Not in Iran, not anywhere. Even Cheney has a 20% approval rating.
I call bullshit.
