Earlier today, you may have seen a fool named Andy McCarthy — last seen giving credence to an evidence-free bit of paranoia about Bill Ayers writing Dreams From My Father — writing that Barack Obama, "as a man of the hard Left" (love that capitalization) is "more comfortable with a totalitarian Islamic regime than he would be with a free Iranian society." This man used to be a federal prosecutor.

Ah, but history has a way with such people, and it’ll be interesting to watch McCarthy explain why some Mir Hussein Moussavi supporter has posted the picture you see in this post to this Facebook page purporting to be Moussavi’s, alongside Obama’s recent statement to the Iranian regime about the whole world watching. False consciousness? Or does this only reveal the true depths of radical Islam lurking beneath the attractive surface of the Iranian opposition?
