I’m 72 years old, and I feel confident that I will hear news of his suffering a lingering, painful illness, and I will know that there will be nothing anyone can do to remove the pain because of his long and continued concerted process of becoming too toxic for the painkillers to work. He might like the money, but what he really needs is for Rush to keep pushing the Likud/Kadima line, and everything else is secondary. (Kinda like the deal the Israeli Cons have cut with American conservative evangelical Christians, whose main interest in keeping Israel around is so it can be destroyed during Armageddon.)
