Via the U.S. Naval Institute’s awesome blog, we have some young Naval officers providing an extremely-high quality version of "I’m On A Boat." As much as I like this, I’m hoping some other sailors — Catherine‘s brother, I’m looking at you — rework the song to be about the Navy.

I see, though, Cdr. Salamander commenting:

Hey! That’s my Sunday Funny tomorrow …. the blogger in me likes it …. the other side of the brain wonders

(OldSchool) if a bunch of non-qual’s JG’s shouldn’t have better things to with with their underway time.

(/OldSchool)

But what if you did it like this, like you’re singing about being in the Navy and blogging? I’m reading Galrahn/ and Tom Ricks and shit/ discuss a Frank Hoffman paper that I’m getting all wet/ Patrolling sea lanes/ getting commerce ahead/ in my thousand-ship Navy, like the admiral said

Obviously I’m not in the Navy, so you can do better than me here. Go to it.
