Moscow believes we just signed over a new lease on Eastern Europe. And we didn’t even get a tin of caviar. Will the Obama-Putin Act go down in history as the post-modern Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact?
– Ralph Peters, New York Post, today, via Andrew
In Brussels, Rogozin, the Russian NATO envoy, said the shelving of the U.S. missile shield in Eastern Europe means Russia will now not deploy short-range Iskander missiles near Poland. “If you have no radars and missiles in the Czech Republic and Poland, we don’t need to find some response,” he said.

That’s one charming Nazi comparison. For Peters to have even begun to have demonstrated himself to be anything but a complete blithering idiot, Rogozin would have have to have said the opposite of what he did.

Um, very?
To be fair, I think there is some underlying psychosis from which Peters suffers, possibly related to his fixation with gay sex.
I’m a real rookie on this stuff but it seems to me that the new plan is best by a long shot.
If my thinking that this new plan can be up and running in a manner of a month or so by just moving around our existing ships, and brought up to full strength just as fast as we can build a few more American Made ships. Not to mention the Billions saved and spend stateside.
These idiots who try to force every event into the framework of their political ideology frequently end up looking pathetically stupid. The sad thing is they never seem to pay a price for what is, in the context of what they do, malfeasance.
If someone is paid to analyze international geopolitical strategies, and they purposely fail to provide an honest and accurate analysis due to their political agenda, they should be henceforth disqualified from offering further analysis as they have established that they are not trustworthy…
