Petraeus’ remarks — to be pasted into the draft; readers, now you know how the sausage is made –  and so, having been a particularly poor blogger today as I’ve had very little time to blog, check out Eli Lake and Sara Carter’s piece about Gen. McChrystal. They report he’s not going to throw his stars on the table over the troop question, and I’ve heard similar things.
