Look at the schedule for the J Street conference and laugh at how pathetically desperate it is for the opponents of peace to portray this gathering as “anti-Israel.”

Hillary Mann Leverett, CEO, STRATEGA
Trita Parsi, Founder and President, National Iranian American Council
Brian Finlay, Senior Associate, The Henry L. Stimson Center
Moderator: Toni G. Verstandig, Director of Middle East Programs, The Aspen Institute# Human Rights in Israel (Independence FG)
Rabbi Arik Ascherman, Executive Director, Rabbis for Human Rights
Oded Na’aman, Breaking the Silence
Uri Zaki, USA Representative, B’tselem
Professor David Kretzmer, Emeritus Professor of International Law, Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Co-Chair, Executive Board, B’Tselem, The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories
Moderator: Aaron Back, Director, Ford Israel Fund
Just chosen at random. I particularly like how the Shtetl’s right-wingers love to attack Trita as running “the unofficial lobby in America for the current Iranian regime.” In truth, Trita is one of the regime’s leading opponents in the Iranian diaspora, as he and NIAC proved, definitively, in the aftermath of the stolen Iranian election in June. But to them he’s just another dirty Muslim. J Street should be proud to have such enemies.
