But for those who are tempted to believe they know more than the rest of us and can offer policy prescriptions and conclusions this early on, I will just remind them: for hours yesterday, we all thought the shooter was dead. So, please don't base anything you think you know on preliminary information. We'll find out all we need to know, all in good time. And to impugn the patriotism and loyalty of other servicemembers who share a faith, a national heritage, a last name, a marital status, a profession, a skin tone, or a degree-granting institution with the shooter is horribly unfair and, in all aspects, un-American. So let's just stop, okay, FOXies?
