Uh, I’m guessing you’re not a regular here – see the end of the sentence in Teddy’s post? See, there, that “/s”.
We call that a snark tag. He put that there to make perfectly clear, in case anyone might take it seriously, that he was being sarcastic.

And yes, to M. — in the forty years I’ve been a feminist, my observations match yours – antifeminist women hate men far more, and more consistently, than feminists.
At the very least, like my own mother, such women generally have very little respect for men, and feel perfectly justified using “classic” traditional manipulation of men to get what they want.

I am not quite sure why LeBlanc’s gender(s) would matter so much in this case. This is for the same reason that my opinion of Ms. Garner’s advice would not change if she were distributing this “advice” to a male in a comparable situation.

I’m skeptical of anyone who purports to hand out life advice to complete strangers via mail in general, but even grading on those low expectations Garner is really terrible.
