Thanks. I know way too little about the manual and the incident with Abdulmutallab. But I figured it might be worth asking others who knew more. I’d really like to hear the answer if anyone ever finds out. Even if it is just “No.”

Either way TSA needs to “fix things”.

Whoops — Tom Ridge has gone on Teevee to scream and yell that Abdulmutallab should not be granted any constitutional rights. We’ll start to hear about not letting him mount a defense or appear in court because of the security risks very soon, I predict.
