Josh Foust can tut-tut me all he likes on his GoogleReader and I’ll never get offended — shit, I’ll even take it to heart — because he writes posts like these. Read every word of this. Foust extrapolates some U.N. refugee data about civilians fleeing their homes in Marja, all in a rigorous and thoughtful way, to raise some disturbing questions about whether the mission there is more burdensome than beneficial to a population that’s being thrust into overburdened refugee camps. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t think to do this, because it’s what journalism should be.

If it helps, I tut-tut other people a helluva lot more strongly in the Reader. Complaining about language is one thing—I have never called you a ***** ************* ******* before, which I have others.
Anyways: thanks.
