Steve Benen thinks Keep America Safe is finally jumping the shark with the “al-Qaeda Seven” smear. And maybe they are. But that just doesn’t give the Cheneyites their due. These guys were completely discredited after 2008. Liz Cheney would never have achieved anything in life if her name was Liz Jones. And now every time they sneeze, they do it in front of a bank of cameras and semi-erect Politico stenographers. This is an amazingly successful organization. No one should think otherwise.
