Shine A Light

Posted in: 1

Grover Norquist’s favorite movie of 2008 was Shine A Light — that’s via Steve Clemons — the Martin Scorsese-directed concert film of the contemporary Rolling Stones. What political implication does that have? None. People’s musical taste and movie taste are independent of their political taste. To draw connections between aesthetics and politics is bad for both.

Meanwhile, Dana Perino liked Slumdog Millionaire, which is a very good movie that you should see if you haven’t already.
